Grading of Walks:
B+ = 10-15 miles, little climbing or 8-10 miles modest climbs
+B = 8-12 miles, little climbing
+C = 5-8 miles, easy going

Control of Dogs on Rambles: Members bringing dogs on rambles are reminded that any accident or damage caused by a member's dog is the owner's sole responsibility. The law now is that in farming country dogs must be on a lead.
On those Sundays where a C or B/C ramble has not been arranged. Members wishing to walk should meet at the Town Hall at 10.15am to decide upon a leader and means of transport unless stated otherwise.
Anyone wishing to join a B+ walk, please contact Charlie Webb on tel. 0161 624 1564 to check weather etc. Charlie often walks on Sundays anyway, so please telephone him if you would like to join him.
