Welcome To Rochdale Federation of Tenants & Residents Association Web Page.
ROFTRA came into being during the 1980's as an umbrella organisation for existing Tenants and Residents groups throughout the borough of Rochdale. Although independent from the local authority ROFTRA receives funding from the Housing Revenue account via tenant rents. We are a pressure group and work on behalf of our member associations of which our membership at present stands at 42 member associations throughout the borough of Rochdale. Membership at ROFTRA is free.
The borough is split into 5 different Townships.
- Rochdale North Township
- Rochdale South Township
- Pennines Township
- Middleton Township
- Heywood Township
We have member associations in each of the 5 Township areas.
