RYA First Aid Course
The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) First Aid course is designed for those who take part in water sports, primarily aimed at sailing, power boating and Windsurfing, the course is designed for both the Potential Instructor and also the offshore Power Boater and Yachtsman.
Candidates who complete the course over 1 day duration will receive an attendance certificate issued on behalf of the RYA by Imagescreator Training, an RYA Recognised Teaching Centre (RTC).
The Certificate is valid for three years from course date and must be renewed before the 3 year expiry date. This course also covers the theory of Helicopter and Lifeboat Rescue together with information of the Offshore First Aid Kit and the use of offshore drugs.
