Paediatric First Aid
Designed for the Child Minder and those caring for the young child, ie nursery and kindergarten staff, also useful for the home. Concentrating on the essentials of First Aid as applied to the infant rather than the adult. This 1 day course covers the wide range of conditions that may be encountered in Schools, Nurseries and the home.
This is an attendance course and carries a 3 year certificate. The Candidate will be expected to renew their qualification within the third year anniversary of the previous qualification.
It is essential that an emergency plan is in place to ensure all aspects are covered effectively, this course will help you to formulate a general plan, although it is up to the individual organization to formulate their specific parts to suit their own environment.
