Day First Aid at Work 4Course
The 4 Day First Aid Course is designed for persons in the workplace who have been designated as First Aiders and take charge of all aspects of emergency procedures until professional help arrives.
This course complies with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and carries the appropriate Health and Safety certificate valid for three years.
This course must be updated every 3 three years BEFORE the anniversary of the previous qualification. To upgrade every three years, the refresher course is only 2 days in duration, it also has to be renewed every three years.
The Appointed Person qualification is a one day course to give basic training to those who have been designated as assistants to the First Aider. Their job is to manage an incident until the First Aider arrives. Also they will normally be responsible for maintaining First Aid Kit stock levels and maintaining the First Aid and Accident Report administration records.
