Background
Proprietor Mike Huck is an old rock and roller (as recently described in Lancashire Life magazine) and has been a Baptist minister for the past 35 years. The decor of his restaurant is dominated by photographs, any of them rare, of the Beatles Gerry and the Pacemakers and guitars. The food, described as "luxurious" and "imaginatively and carefully created" by Lancashire Life, is prepared by his exemplary kitchen team, which could be the youngest in the North West, if not the country. The top class wines match the quality of the food.
