And many other smaller companies.  Her experiences have also led to close working relationships with voluntary/community groups such as;

Skilled in dealing with a diverse variety of individuals, she is adaptable and can provide efficient liaison at all levels of event management.

Her past experience includes several years with national charity - Common Purpose - organising conferences, residential workshops, networking events and corporate entertainment.  She was also instrumental in raising sponsorship, cash and in-kind, from local businesses.

She followed this with seven years as Events Manager at CVOne (Coventry), booking entertainers (from high profile entertainers to local street theatre), organising large scale public events, festivals and processions.

This included five years as Manager of the annual Godiva Procession, which traversed the city centre each year.  An inaugural member of the management team for the now highly successful Godiva Festival in Coventry (www.godivafestival.co.uk) which has been voted Best Free Midlands Festival by the Leicester Mercury Group.  Within this Festival, she devised and created the very popular Greenspace, raising public awareness of the environment, by combining education and entertainment.

She also had direct management of the annual St George's Day re-enactment and Coventry Heritage Open Days event for 3 years, linking in with the national English Heritage scheme.  During this time, she gained extensive experience in liasing with statutory bodies and emergency services, supervising permanent and freelance staff and volunteers, marketing and budget management.  She was also successful in securing private sector sponsorship and grant funding support (Arts Council and Heritage Lottery Funding) in support of these events.

Following this, she worked with TV & film stunts team The Devil's Horsemen, providing admin support, ground crew at live events, organising medieval banquets (complete with jousting!) and liasing with agents and filming crews.

She has been trained in Risk Assessment and Crowd Safety (Institute of Leisure and Amenity Management), Health and Safety (Chartered Institute of Environment Health) and holds a current First Aid at Work certificate.

Jane can also provide a whole range of admin support services, research skills, proofreading/copy editing and sponsorship and grant funding support.  Although having only recently returned to her roots, she continues her participatory ethos by membership of  the Norden Carnival Committee and voluntary work with Rochdale RSPCA.
