Rochdale Online shortlisted for best commercial web site award

Rochdale Online has been shortlisted for best commercial web site award in the Manchester Digital Big Chip Awards.
The Big Chip Awards is now in its seventh year, and celebrate the wealth of talent in digital industries in the North.
There have been a record number of submissions and the short-list for the best commercial web site has been announced as: Rochdale Online; 2M Media; Code Computer Love; Definitude Ltd; iKnow; McCann-i; and Rippleeffect.
The judging panel is chaired by Michael Nutley, Editor of New Media Age and joining Michael will be a range of industry experts including Shaun Fensom, Chair of Manchester Digital, and Dave Carter, Head of Manchester Digital Development Agency (MDDA).
Pauline Journeaux, Managing Director of Rochdale Online said: "we are delighted to have been short-listed for another award, having been short-listed for the North Manchester E-Business of the Year Award and the New Statesman National New Media Awards in 2004. We narrowly missed out in 2004 and hope to go one better with this award."
The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony to be held at New Century Hall in Manchester on Thursday 24 February.
