Free Summer Sports Festival Says Go Clubbing

One of the highlights of this summer is set to be the Go Clubbing Festival - now in its third year. The Festival runs from 2 to 14 August and taster sessions and open events give the chance to find out what local Clubs have to offer.

Organised by Rochdale Council's SportsLink Team, the Go Clubbing Festival runs from 28th July to 8th August 2003 and is a show case of Sports Clubs in the borough of Rochdale with a chance for young people aged from 6 to 16 to try out new sports for free.

Sports include Athletics, Badminton, Cricket, Crown Green Bowling, Cycling, Gymnastics, Hockey, Kick Boxing, Rugby League, Sailing, Snorkelling, Sub Aqua, Table Tennis and Tae-kwondo.
