Odeon Cinema undergoing a major refurbishment programme

The Odeon Cinema is undergoing a major refurbishment programme that includes new premium seating for those wanting the ultimate in cinema luxury, new flooring throughout the interior, facilities for the hard of hearing and visually impaired, new tills and a system where tickets can be purchased from retails areas as well as the box office.
Richard Wilson, General Manager of the cinema, says: “All the Odeon Rochdale team are very excited about the great investment into our cinema. We’re looking forward to enjoying the improvements to the site with film fans in the summer.
Cinema doors will remain open for business throughout the refurbishment process, estimated to be completed by mid June, with screening schedules revised only slightly to accommodate the major work planned.
