Trio bailed following Falinge Park assault

A man and two boys arrested in connection with the racially motivated assault of an Asian teenager in Falinge Park on Tuesday afternoon, 8 April, have been released on police bail.

At about 4pm a 15-year-old Falinge Park High School pupil was knocked unconscious by two white youths after they attacked him on his way home from school.

A 20-year-old man and two boys aged 15 and 17 were arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident and have been bailed until 15 August 2008 pending further inquiries.

Police are still appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information about what happened, to come forward.
