Kirkholt murder victim identified

A man who was found murdered in Kirkholt on Monday 12 June 2006 has been formally identified.

Anthony Marsh's body was found at his home on Curzon Road in Kirkholt on the evening of Monday 12 June 2006.

A post mortem examination revealed that Anthony (born 24/03/64) died as a result of multiple injuries.

A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on the day that Anthony's body was found. He remains in custody.

A 19-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, who were arrested on suspicion of murder on 13 June 2006, have been released without charge.

A 25-year-old man, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder on 13 June 2006, remains in custody.

A 49-year-old man was last night, Wednesday 14 June 2006, arrested on suspicion of murder. He is currently being questioned by detectives.
