Financial recovery programme briefing at Trust hospitals

Staff at Pennine Trust, which includes Rochdale Infirmary, have been summoned to meetings today (Friday 21 July) for an update briefing on the Trust's financial recovery programme.

'Invited' to the briefings, with the request that they subsequently brief their own teams, are:

• Clinical Leads
• Service Managers
• Clinical Nurse Managers
• Service Managers
• Heads of Department
• Ward Managers
• Staffside Reps

The briefings take place at:

• Rochdale Infirmary
• Birch Hill Hospital
• North Manchester General Hospital
• Royal Oldham Hospital
• Fairfield Hospital
• Westhulme HQ

Staff will be given a copy of a report on the progress of the programme along with a 'key points' sheet.

There are also specific briefings for Westhulme staff.

It is widely rumoured that one of the measures will be that the Trust will sell off the Westhulme HQ site, and relocate staff mostly to North Manchester General Hospital.
