Armed robbery at Bury Road Service Station

A man armed with a knife threatened staff and stole cash and cigarettes from a garage in Rochdale on Wednesday 25 of April 2007.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at 11.45am at Bury Road Service Station.
A man went into the service station as if he was a customer and waited at the counter to be served. When the member of staff came to serve him, he pointed a kitchen knife at him and demanded he hand over cash and cigarettes.
The cashier handed over cash and cigarettes to the man, who then ran out of the shop, heading towards the cemetary.
He is described as white, 5'7'' tall, with blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket, jeans and a balaclava.
