Yorkshire Street closed due to traffic collision

Just after 7.15am on Friday 12 October 2007 police were called to Yorkshire Street in Rochdale Town Centre following a report of a road traffic collision.

It is believed an HGV had been in collision with a crane in which two men were working.

Both men have been taken to Rochdale Infirmary but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Yorkshire Street is currently closed.
