At about 7.40pm on Wednesday 21 March 2007, the offender went into Booze Zone on Edenfield Road with a man and a woman.

The man and woman paid for some alcohol at which point the offender picked up two bottles of Vodka and said he was taking them for free.

The offender then walked out of the shop followed by the shopkeeper who demanded the bottles back.

The victim was taken to Rochdale Infirmary with bruising and swelling to his head.

The offender is described as a white man, 5ft 8in, of medium build. He had a baldhead and a Rochdale accent.

Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV still or has any information is asked to call police on 0161 856 8428 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
