Brave males needed for hair-raising event!

An appeal has been launched to find Rochdale men brave enough to take part in a sponsored leg wax in aid of children’s charity MedEquip4Kids and Rochdale Infirmary.

MedEquip4Kids, which funds medical equipment for children’s wards and neo-natal units at hospitals across the North West, is looking for help to fund digital syringe pumps for the High Dependency Unit at Rochdale Infirmary.

The pumps administer medication to children in precise quantities and are needed to replace outdated equipment.

MedEquip4Kids Community Fundraiser, Rachel Allen, said: “We are really looking to boost our support in the Rochdale area, especially as we are fundraising for equipment which is going to benefit the children in the town. If you think you can handle the pain of having your legs waxed, or would like to nominate someone, then we want to hear from you!”
