Ellen Smith Tours 'Skill-up' with Chamber Business Connections

Ellen Smith Tours have taken advantage of the Chamber Business Connections Business training department to boost the skills of their customer-facing employees.

Joint Managing Directors John White and Paul Targett identified staff development as a key factor which would help to drive their product forward and assist in market development. Paul approached Gillian Corlett, Business Training co-ordinator at Chamber Business Connections, to discuss how a bespoke training service could be constructed to assist staff development.

Gillian engaged a leading consultant to undertake a diagnosis of company needs, and from this a highly-tailored training workshop was devised.

“The day spent training was very worthwhile, as we could get all our staff there, and the tutor was excellent” said Paul Targett, “working with Chamber business training has certainly been beneficial to the business.”
