Heywood based businessman becomes Rochdale Online's first franchisee

The Rochdale Online web site has become what is probably the largest and most popular local web site in the country over 1.6 million page views per month and still rising.
The popularity of the RO web site has prompted many requests from individuals and businesses in other towns for a similar site, and so in the autumn of 2005, following almost a year of development work the 'Ask Bury' web site was launched.
With the site already proving a great success and rapidly gaining in popularity, on Friday 14 April Heywood based businessman Kevin Abbot became Rochdale Online's first franchisee when he purchased the Ask Bury franchise, and he will now run the Ask Bury web site under licence from Rochdale Online.
Ask Bury joins Ask Heywood and Ask Littleborough in the Ask Local stable. Ask Middleton will be completed shortly and Ask Oldham and Ask Rossendale are under development.
