DLB Recruitment celebrates 10th anniversary

Set up by Debra Bowd in 1996 DLB Recruitment celebrates its tenth anniversary this month and is to embark on further expansion this year.

Debra was a Secretary, P.A., and Office Manager before going into the employment agency business so had dealt with agencies as a client, job seeker and then in the business as a supplier, therefore when she set up DLB in 1996 she knew what she wanted from her own employment agency.

Speaking to Rochdale Online, Debra said:

“I had no doubt that I would make this work, through sheer determination, hard work and belief but also knowledge of the industry and my past work experience within a variety of businesses”

Since that time Debra has built up a strong team of consultants who she says "are totally committed to DLB and its ideals, she added that all her team are as proud of DLB as she is!

Asked what differentiates DLB from the competition Debra replied:

“We are a local professional yet friendly employment agency that clients and job seekers alike are comfortable with – they know that DLB offer a fantastic quality service at all times which is always honest and open."

DLB cover permanent and temporary placements of all clerical staff including receptionist, secretaries, accounts, sales, administrators, industrial staff including warehouse, picking/packing, flt, sewing machinists, catering plus all managerial staff including office, HR, production, purchasing, etc., throughout Rochdale and the North West.
