Zen Internet creates in-house public relations team
Date published: 01/12/2005
Zen Internet has announced the creation of its in-house public relations team due to the ever increasing success and expansion of the company. In doing this Zen is better positioned to distribute its latest news quickly, working with the media to make both customers and general public aware as soon as possible of improved options and services available to them.
Bringing the PR team in house means that the Internet Service Provider can maximise opportunities for newsworthy stories as Zen employees can put forward ideas from within the company easily. Every possible internal news story can be assessed, allowing people to find out more about Zen, following on from its first ten successful years. Everything the company does that is relevant and beneficial to the public will be available for consumption!
Zen is privileged to receive many enquiries and requests for comment from journalists. The new team are able to contact the key players at Zen, quickly and easily which will mean that the company is better able to meet requests, allowing journalists to meet their deadlines.
Iain Johnstone, who will be heading up the team, explained, “As the company grows we need to keep the market aware of what we are doing and ensure that we continue to deliver consistent messages about our products, our progress and our people. It is key at this stage of our development that we manage these messages from within the business.”
The company hopes to offer improved communication with the media to keep the market aware of its next moves and the benefits that these could bring.
