The car park is on the left just east of the turning for Edale.

Meet at 9:45am in the cul de sac a t the bottom of the old Manchester Rd to arrange car sharing or at 10:30am at Roddlesworth Information Centre GR SD 665 215. From Bolton A675 through Belmont Village, past the Sailing Club. Take first right signed Tockholes, and within 1.5 miles on the right, near Royal Hotel, is the car park. Use the back car park.

Weasdale Horseshoe
Coach Trip. 8 mile moderate to hard walk starting from Wath, near Newbiggin on Lune GR NY 684 050. Coach Trips: We have the opportunity to go further afield by taking advantage of spare seats on some of Rochdale Field Naturalists’ coach trips. These excursions are open to Ramblers’ Association members only and booking is essential with the walks leader beforehand. The coach departs promptly at 9:00am and return start time is 5:00pm.
